Long Rental House in Montefaro, Gran Alacant

Located within the prestigious gated community of Montefaro, this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house has living space all on one level, making it ideal for all ages!

The property has a private parking space, external stairs up to a large roof top solarium with views over the countryside and mountains. Perfect for taking in the evening sunsets. The house consists of a lounge/diner with a usable fireplace, air conditioning, a sofa, dining suite and has patio doors leading out to the private rear garden. The garden is south facing so receives sunshine all day round the year. There is a sun terrace with a new awning (awning replaced April 2025) and a lower level with artificial grass.

The independent fitted kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, an electric oven, gas hob, extractor fan and a microwave oven. There is a seperate utility room with the gas bottle for the hob and an electric hot water boiler. This makes an excellent space for storing bycyles and beachware.

The master bedroom has a double bed, an air conditioning unit, built-in wardrobe and a private en-suite bathroom with tube and shower above. The second bedroom has a desk and two single beds. The third bedroom has a single bed with an additional pull out bed and a built-in wardrobe.

There is a second bathroom with a shower cubicle, wash basin and wc.

The property has access to all the wonderful community facilities included a superb tropical swimming pool with mature gardens, childrens splash pool, water cascade and bridge features. Due to the size it is open for the summer months only with a life guard on duty. There is a changing room and toilets available. Also included are padel courts, tennis court, a football pitch/basketball court and a childrens playground.

Within a few minutes walk you have the Life Resort with its supermarket, restuarant, hair salon, doctors and bus stop. Just a few minutes more and you will arrive at Avenida Escandinavia with an array of restuarants, cafes and bars, grcocery stores, a bank, the town hall office and medical centre.

The marvelous beach of Carabasi is just a 5 minute drive or short bus trip away where you can enjoy its famous golden sand and transparant waters. There are plenty of beach bars and sun beds for hire. There are restuarants along the promenade in Los Arenales del Sol.

A very attractive gated community located up the hill near the pharmacy and Life Resort. The properties range from 2 and 3 bedroom bungalows to 2 to 4 bedroom houses, most being either semi-detached or quad style properties. The build quality is good, the proerties come with a private garden, off road parking, and normally have a balcony or solarium or both.
The communal swimming pool at the centre is a delight to see and use with its lush landscaped gardens and tropical lagoon feel to it. There is plenty of grass borders to relax around the pool and toilets and changing rooms at the entrance. During the summer months there is a lifeguard so the months when it is open may be limited.
The community also has escellent sports failities with a tennis court, padel court, basketball court and a football pitch. The children's playground will keep the littles ones amused for a while.
There are many services close by including a pharmacy, weekly market, bars, restaurants, banks, doctors, library and buses. The beach is approximatley 3km away.
Gran Alacant is a sub-district of the coastal resort and traditional fishing town of Santa Pola, located 22km south of Alicante city. It is made up of a group of urbanizations on the Cape of Santa Pola and borders the Clot de Galvany nature reserve, the beaches of Los Arenales del Sol and Carabasi to the north and the Mediterranean pine forrests to the south of the cape. The airport of Alicante-Elche is just 8.5km away making it very convenient for international travellers. The cities of Alicante and Elche are around 20 minutes drive way and offer extensive shopping, restaurants, musuems and services.
Gran Alacant is home to over 8,000 residents and has several commercial areas which offer a variety of different restuarants, bars, banks, and shops. There is also a school, medical centre, library, two pharmacies, several supermarkets and a petrol station. The regular public transport in the form of buses communte between Santa Pola and Alicante while the municipal buses can take you around Gran Alacant itself.
